What is WHOOPS?
The Wesley Hall Organization of Parents'
(WHOOPS) enriches the Wesley Hall experience for students,
parents, and teachers. This goal is achieved with the help of
parent volunteers who produce fundraising events throughout the school year such as bake sales, book fairs, and
family fun night. Proceeds provide activities such
as the Spring Carnival for students, the Teacher Appreciation
luncheon, and an end of year gift to the school.
Anyone who volunteers their time for
a school event is a member of WHOOPS. We are just like the PTA in many of the public schools. Membership is defined by participation—at
an event or behind the scenes!
Although there is a core group of people
who coordinate the initial activities such as welcome coffees, it is
the parent volunteers from various classes who make student events successful
throughout the year.
YOU are the people who make up WHOOPS!
